Karan Malhotra’s much awaited magnum opus Shamshera featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt as well as Vaani Kapoor in the lead functions, is ready to arrive in the theaters tomorrow i.e., July 22, 2022, and spectators are incredibly excited to see the Kapoor scion back on the cinema after a long period of time. In the film, Ranbir plays double function- a child and a papa, while Vaani plays his love passion. Dutt on the other hand, will be viewed as an antagonist in the film.
While the trio of the film is every bit interesting, let’s see if the first review of the film is in favour of them …
Overseas film abroad Umair Sandhu tweeted, “Saw #Shamshera at Overseas Censor Board! All that Glitters is not gold First Review #Shamshera from Overseas Censor Board! #SanjayDutt as usual Boring Villain!
He even more commended Ranbir for his acting chops and also action sequences, and Vaani Kapoor over her scintillating dancing moves in the film, but dissed Dutt’s weak portrayal as the bad guy of the film.
In one more tweet, he composed, “Story & Screenplay of #Shamshera is so Boring & Nothing new to supply! Review #Shamshera from Overseas Censor Board – #RanbirKapoor Terrific Performance, First Rate Action Sequences, #VaaniKapoor Citii Maar Dance Number & Romantic Act. – #SanjayDutt WEAK Villain, He is still in #KGF, #Prithviraj & #Agneepath Mode & Boring Screenplay.”.
Well, the first review might dissatisfy Ranbir and his fans, but still there’s hope, as the moviegoers are yet to enjoy the film.
Tomorrow is an important day for the Shamshera team.
