Laurie Holden will be joining “The Boys” Season 3 on Amazon in a recurring position.
Holden will play the role of Crimson Countess. Holden will join other recently announced recurring cast members Sean Patrick Flanery, Miles Gaston Villanueva, and Nick Wechsler, who will play the role of Blue Hawk.
Holden is most well-known for her role as Andrea in “The Walking Dead,” a megahit series about the zombie apocalypse. Other notable TV roles include “The Americans”, “The X-Files” and “The Shield.” Holden also voiced the animated movie “Fireheart”.
Gersh Entertainment Partners, Jackoway Austen Tyerman and Brillstein Entertainment Partners are her reps.
“The Boys” stars Jack Quaid and Karl Urban. The film is based upon the best-selling comic Garth Ennis & Darick Robertson and was produced by Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Television Studios, Kripke Enterprises, Original Film and Point Grey Pictures.
Amazon’s breakout hit “The Boys” is the streaming service that gave the comic book adaptation a renewed renewal for Season 3. This was before Season 2 even aired. Amazon is also currently preparing a spinoff series that will be set at a college for students. As Variety reported previously, the series is currently building its cast and is expected to be ordered.
