The Boys Season 3 release date has been awaited since the end of Season 2 of The Boys, the Superhero action show. Good news! Filming for the third season, as well as a spinoff series, is underway.
The third season’s release date has yet to be confirmed by the series makers. Amazon Prime Video will have it available whenever it is released. The streaming giant already showed the first visual teaser of The Boys Season 3 with Jensen Ackles dressed as Soldier Boy.
Who Are In The Cast Of The Boys Season 3?
Jensen Ackles was without doubt the biggest addition to The Boys casting list. Erik Kripke stated, “As Soldier Boy and the very first superman, he will bring so much humor to the role. I’m excited to work with him again and to bring a little bit of Supernatural into The Boys.
He added that Jensen Ackles had put in the picture of him taking on the role as Soldier Boy. He is the first celebrity to have played the role and was a major stay of American culture for many decades.”

The official Twitter account for the series recently posted two photos of Jensen Ackles wearing the costume Soldier Boy. The caption to the post reads “He is the f’n Captain now, America.” #SoldierBoy
Amazon’s hit The Boys Season 3 could be darker than previous seasons. ‘The Boys’ star Laz Alonso said that the addition of Jensen Ackles in the cast hint at the possibility that Season 3 will be darker than the previous seasons.

Alonso says Jensen Ackles character allows the showrunner “not only to bring in a historically dark character, but it also makes the rest of the ensemble Supes darker.”
Katia Snow, Blood & Treasure’s star, has also joined Amazon’s The Boys Season 3 casting. She will play the infamous comic book character ‘Little Nina. Little Nina is a Russian Gang Leader who enjoys sex toys. This will be the first time the comic-book character Little Nina has been portrayed on screen.
The cast also includes Antony Starr (“Homelander”), Jessie T Usher (“A-Train”), Karen Fukuhara (“Kimiko”) and Nate Mitchell (“Black Noir”).

Eric Kripke, who confirmed The Boys Season 3 is doing “Herogasm” earlier in the year. Reddit user Eric Kripke wrote that The Boys Season 3 would feature a hardcore porn tale. He shared an image showing the sixth episode of Season 3. It will include “Herogasm”, the script written by Jessica Chou.

Eric Kripke has just tweeted that The Boys Season 3 would be “something truly special.” This is insane. He also added a gif showing Alistair Adana’s head explode to show how he feels the third season will go. On social media, he stated that the series will see a huge event.

The Boys Season 3’s release date is not yet confirmed. The production started in February and has been officially confirmed. The Boys Season 2 aired in September 2020. It was filmed 10 months after the first filming finished. The Boys Season 3 could release in 2021 or 2022 via Amazon Prime Video.
